M&A Manager/Associate – Nordic Growth, DL: 23.03.

Nordic Growth serves corporate management and owners by building and realizing full value of businesses. Our customers are corporate management, investors, private equity and entrepreneurs. Based on our broad experience of building owner value we support wise employment of capital with deep analytical approach and extensive network support, be it buying or selling. We support our customers in boosting their competitive advantage and leveraging strategic potential through advisory and transactions. At the moment, our team consists of over 10 employees and due to our strong deal pipeline, we are looking for new experts to join our team.

Nordic Growth is looking for an experienced, self-directed and team-oriented M&A Manager/Associate to join their analyst team! In this position, you will be working with interesting projects, such as M&A buy and sell side mandates. As an analyst in projects, your main tasks include data collection from various sources, analysis and compilation of materials. You get to interact with various transaction related parties, such as investors, industrial buyers and sellers, participate in client meetings and stay actively in contact with our clients during the projects.

 

You will be a key player in our projects and get a lot of responsibility from day one. Based on performance and abilities you will have an opportunity to expand your role. In order to succeed in this role, we expect you to have good skills in collecting, processing and summarizing information. In addition to your relevant degree and previous work experience, a key factor is an analytical and self-directed working style. The role includes close collaboration with internal team members, as well as our clients, underlining the importance of great team working skills.

We require you to have: 

  • A degree from a relevant field (e.g. Business, Finance or Industrial Engineering and Management)

  • One year previous work experience from similar tasks and/or three years of relevant other experience, e.g. in consulting, finance or business management

  • Analytical and self-directed working style and excellent team working skills

  • Fluent oral and written proficiency in English and Finnish

 

 We consider as an asset:

  • Fluency in Swedish, other languages a plus

  • Excellent skills in MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Interest and/or previous work experience in sales

 

In this position you will be employed directly to Nordic Growth Oy.
