We are looking for Software Developers to work with various interesting cloud development, automation and data analytics projects at our EY Helsinki office.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team at EY that provides clients with technology solutions to their business needs. We cover a whole range of services, including but not limited to cloud application development, user experience design, AI and data analytics and RPA. We utilize modern cloud platforms and technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes. Depending on your experience, your position could be either a Consultant or a Trainee. Consultant positions are permanent and Trainee positions start off as temporary.
Your key responsibilities
Depending on your background and experience, your key responsibilities can include cloud application development, user experience design, API and microservice development, configuration of cloud services and data analysis. You proactively develop and propose your own solutions and work as part of our agile team.
Skills and attributes for success
- have good written and oral skills in English
- keen interest in learning about new technologies and methods
To qualify for the role, you must have
- a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering / computer science / another relevant field, or you are close to graduation
- have hands-on experience in developing applications with common frameworks and languages such as Node.js and Python
- prove your skills with your past work experience or in another way (e.g. own projects in GitHub or in a technical interview)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- experience in working with some modern cloud platforms and technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker)
- familiarity with Agile development and DevOps
- knowledge on RPA, Analytics or ERP systems
What we look for
More than anything we’re looking for a full-stack developer, or someone more experienced on some specific part of the stack (for example UI design) that is eager to learn more.
