DESCRIPTION:NOTE: The Cases are held in Finnish \nAre you ready for the biggest and most lucrative case competition of the year?! 💶 \nThe Amazing Case is back for the second time! 🏆 So\, if you haven’t marked October 20th in your calendar yet\, make sure to do it now! \nWHAT: The biggest and most lucrative case event of the year – The Amazing Case case competition! \nWHERE: Dynamo Business Park\, Hatanpään valtatie 24. Afterparty at Gastropub Soho\, Otavalankatu 10. \nWHEN: Tuesday\, October 20th\, from 9:00 AM to approximately 6:00 PM. Teams are required to be present throughout the entire day. \nHOW TO PARTICIPATE: Register your team using the Forms registration form: The Amazing Case registration – Fill in the form \nThis exciting team competition gives business students the opportunity to challenge their skills and compete against one another as companies arrive to present case assignments\, which the participating teams will solve in turn. The companies will score each team’s performance\, and the team with the highest total score will win. 🏅 The winning team will receive an amazing €2\,000 cash prize\, which will be divided equally among the members of the winning team. In addition\, companies may reward the teams that perform best in their individual cases. \nAfter the competition itself\, we will continue the day with an afterparty and dinner at Gastropub Soho\, where you will have the opportunity to meet and chat with company representatives in a more relaxed setting. The winner will also be announced and awarded at the afterparty! The afterparty is an official part of the event\, and participation is mandatory. \nIn this event\, having a diverse team with broad expertise across different business majors is a major advantage! So\, put together a team of 4–5 people as soon as possible and be ready to register for the event. For registration\, each team must choose a captain who will register the entire team for the event. Only one registration per team is required. \nINSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY\nThe Amazing Case is a case competition in which participants compete in teams of 4–5 people. This year\, the event has room for 8 teams\, and teams will be selected on a first-come\, first-served basis. The event is intended for more advanced students\, so first-year students (freshmen) cannot participate. \nRegistration takes place through a Forms registration form. For registration\, each team must choose a captain who will register the entire team for the event. Only one registration per team is required. The teams selected to participate will receive a separate information package after registration containing more detailed instructions about the event. REGISTRATION IS BINDING! \nDuring the event\, each team will visit case stations hosted by a total of four companies\, and each case will be scored. The cases will benefit from knowledge across different business majors\, so this is worth considering when putting your team together. Each station will take approximately 75 minutes in total. It will therefore be a long day\, but a one-hour lunch break has been scheduled into the programme. \nTeams can choose where to have lunch at their own expense. Juvenes Dynamo offers a lunch buffet. All case stations are located at Dynamo Business Park\, and Boomi’s corporate relations team will be present to guide teams between the stations and supervise the case sessions. \nThe winning team will receive a total prize pool of €2\,000\, which will be divided equally among the team members. The winner will be determined based on the teams’ total scores from all case stations\, with each station carrying equal weight. \nAny form of cheating or failure to follow the instructions may result in one or all case submissions being disqualified and/or the team being removed from the competition. The specific instructions for each case will be provided separately at each station. \nThe case competition itself starts at 9:30 AM and ends at approximately 3:30 PM. After this\, we will move to Gastropub Soho\, which has been reserved for us for the evening. In addition to dinner\, the winning team will be announced and awarded at the afterparty. Companies may also award prizes to the team that performed best at their individual case station. \nEVENT SCHEDULE\n9:00–9:30 AM\nThe event begins with an information session at Juvenes Dynamo. The session is intended for both company representatives and participating teams and will last approximately 30 minutes. \n9:30 AM–12:00 PM\nTeams rotate between case stations (2 stations in total). \n12:00–1:00 PM – LUNCH\nParticipants can choose whether to have lunch at Juvenes Dynamo or elsewhere\, at their own expense. \n1:00–3:30 PM\nTeams rotate between the remaining case stations (2 stations in total). \n4:00 PM onwards – AFTERPARTY / DINNER / AWARDS CEREMONY\nThe evening will take place at Gastropub Soho. A buffet dinner will be provided\, and the bar will be open! The restaurant has been reserved for our use for the entire evening. \nAt the afterparty\, you will have the opportunity to network with the companies participating in the event. The winning team will also be announced and awarded during the evening. \nParticipation in the afterparty is mandatory.
