DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for the biggest and most lucrative academic event of the year?! 💶\nBack for its second edition\, The Amazing Case is here again! 🏆\nSo if October 21st isn’t already marked in your calendar — now’s the time! \nWHAT: The biggest and most rewarding academic event of the year — The Amazing Case case competition! \nWHERE: Dynamo Business Park\, Hatanpään valtatie 24 \nWHEN: Tuesday\, October 21st\, from 9:00 AM to around 7:00 PM.\nTeams must be present for the entire day. \nHOW TO JOIN: Team registration opens via a Forms link on October 2nd at 12:00 PM. The link is on its way! \n  \nThis brain-teasing team competition gives students the chance to challenge their business know-how and go head-to-head with each other as companies present their unique case tasks. Competing teams will solve the cases one by one\, and each company will score the teams’ performance. The team with the highest total score will be declared the winner! 🏅 \nThe winning team will receive a cash prize of €2000\, divided equally among team members. In addition\, companies may choose to reward the best-performing team on their individual case task. After the main competition\, we’ll keep the momentum going with afterwork & dinner\, where you’ll have the chance to network with company representatives in a more relaxed setting. The winner will also be announced and awarded during the afterparty. Participation in the afterparty is mandatory as it’s part of the official event. In this competition\, a diverse team with broad knowledge from different business majors has a real advantage! So grab your 4–5-person team now and get ready to sign up on October 2nd at 12:00 PM. Each team should select a captain\, who will handle the registration. Only one registration per team is required. \nIMPORTANT INFO & REGISTRATION GUIDELINES – READ CAREFULLY\nThe Amazing Case is a case-based team competition\, where you participate in teams of 4–5 students. This year\, only 8 teams can join\, and participation is based on first come\, first served. The event is aimed at more advanced students — first-year students (freshmen) are not eligible to participate. Registration opens via a Forms link on Tuesday\, October 2nd at 12:00 PM. Each team must select a captain\, who will register the whole team. Only one registration per team is needed. Teams that are successfully registered will receive a detailed info package after confirmation.\nREGISTRATION IS BINDING! \nDuring the event\, each team will complete four case tasks\, each hosted by a different company and individually scored. Case tasks will benefit from expertise across different business majors\, so keep this in mind when forming your team. Each case session lasts approximately 75 minutes. It’s a long day\, but we’ve scheduled a 1-hour lunch break — teams may choose where to eat at their own expense. A lunch buffet will be available at Juvenes Dynamo. \nAll case sessions will take place within Dynamo Business Park\, and Boomi’s corporate relations team will guide teams between locations and ensure everything runs smoothly. The winning team will receive a €2000 prize\, divided evenly among the members. The winner is determined by total points across all four case tasks\, each weighted equally. DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS HELD IN FINNISH. \nWelcome to explore the work of legal and taxation experts and the related legal issues in an insurance company and an advocacy organization. \nThe Business Law and Tax Law study track organizes an annual excursion to Helsinki\, where we visit a few destinations of interest from both an academic and professional perspective. This year’s destinations are the pension insurance company Varma and the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK). Varma will also provide lunch for the participants. \nThe excursion is open to all students in the Business Law and Tax Law study track\, as well as first- and second-year students who are interested in the specialization. The excursion is free of charge for students\, and participation is limited to the first 40 registrants. \nThe trip will start at around 9:00 a.m. (exact time to be confirmed closer to the date) from the university by bus to Helsinki. And what better way to kick off the terrifyingly fun festivities than with the TRICK OR TREAT JÄÄRÄRACE 2025?!  \nDuring the checkpoint race\, you’ll compete against other Boomi Jäärä teams and show the Smurfs what a real race is made of. The route starts at 16:00 from Klubi\, where participating teams will receive their maps.  \nGather your own team of 5–12 people and come find out whether the Smurfs have tricks or treats waiting for you! There’s no official dress code\, but trick or treat-themed costumes are more than welcome.
