The now traditional Back 2 School party once again brings together three brilliant concepts: getting to know med students\, beating med students at beerpong\, and infiltrating the med students’ club.  \nWith a player ticket\, you and your partner can participate in the tournament. As a spectator\, you can follow the games and even test your luck in betting – completely free of course! The event will take place at Klubi 57 and Amos Club\, with easy movement between the two. Before heading to the afterparty\, the tournament will culminate in the final and bronze match at Klubi 57\, where the winners will receive not only glory and bragging rights but also an amazing prize. The afterparty venue will be announced later.  \nTeams consist of two people\, but please note that only one person registers both team members. Drinks used during the tournament are not included in the ticket\, so BYOB. Games start at 18:30. Have your kyykkä skills gotten a bit rusty\, or have you never tried the sport before but would like to give it a go? Or maybe you’re interested in practicing cheering for kyykkä teams in advance? No worries – the joint practice kyykkä event organized by Staabi\, Boomi and Iltakoulu has you covered. The Academic World Championship in kyykkä is just around the corner\, so now is the perfect time to get into the competitive spirit. \nDuring the evening\, you can expect fast-paced club throws\, intense kyykkä battles and a great atmosphere. The cold weather will be kept at bay with hot juice and sausages provided by Kylli. So warm up your throwing arm and head over to fine-tune your kyykkä skills before the fight for the world championship begins. Players of all skill levels are welcome all you need is a positive and relaxed sporting mindset. \nBut what exactly is kyykkä? In short\, it is an academic team sport where two teams compete against each other by knocking over kyykkä pins with a wooden club in order to score as many points as possible. You can find more information about the rules on the official kyykkä website. \nYou are welcome to bring your own reusable cup or thermos for the hot juice\, as well as a water bottle\, since there is no water point nearby. The event is accessible: the market square has no major thresholds\, and an accessible public restroom can be found at the edge of the square.

Whether you prefer skiing down the slopes or walking down the stairs to the lakeside sauna\, this fast-paced weekend at the end of January offers a true après-ski atmosphere with minttu-cocoa\, sausages\, and sauna sessions. Even if skiing isn’t your thing\, the cabin parties and hot tub alone are enough to cause serious FOMO. Pack your skis\, sleds\, and swimsuits – but you can leave drinks and snacks at home\, as this adventure also includes the beloved\, chaotically fun grocery stop during a break on the bus ride. \nWe will depart for Himos on Tuesday\, January 27\, 2026 around midday and return on Thursday morning. More detailed schedules will be updated closer to the event. \nLift passes and any activity tickets will be sold after the main ticket sale. If you are unable to attend\, tickets are non-refundable. However\, tickets can be resold through Boomi’s ticket exchange. \nCabin assignments cannot be changed after Friday\, January 23. \nAccommodation will be in cabins of approximately five people. During ticket sales\, you may submit requests for up to four (4) preferred cabin mates. Everyone must have their own ticket. Accommodation requests will be taken into account as best as possible. A dedicated Telegram group will be created for the event\, and cabin assignments will be announced in the group in January.
