This year, Boomarit will get to celebrate May Day embraced by music. Whether you enjoy musical nostalgia on Throwback Thirst Day, the sensual and intimate vibes of Slow Jamz Pornobile Pre-Party, or summer rave energy at Bomorroland May Day Sitsit, come and experience Boomi’s May Day with music at its core!

Boomi’s May Day Weeks are back, bigger and better than ever! Has it been too long since last May Day? Have you finally recovered from Smurf Weeks? No worries—May Day is just around the corner! May Day is famously a time for making lifelong memories and friends, accumulating sleep debt, and (unfortunately) watching academic performance decline. However, thanks to the extensive May Day Pass, you can tailor the celebration to fit your own style! This year, Boomi’s May Day is structured with more flexibility, so you can take breaks if needed. But if you’re someone who likes to go all in, Finland’s Biggest May Day offers plenty of activities, even on rest days! With endless event possibilities from early April to early May, you can craft a May Day experience you’ll cherish for decades.

Let’s keep Boomi’s Vappu safe and free from harassment for everyone. Boomi’s safer space policy will be followed throughout Vappu. Boomin has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and inappropriate behavior. However, if you encounter inappropriate behavior, you can contact Boomi’s harassment support persons. If necessary, the event organizer may remove a person behaving disruptively from the event.

🎶 “Something’s missing from my va-va-vappu, and this event just might be it!” 🎶

Are you already longing for Vappu? Remember when life was still simple and carefree? And do you recall the best hits from the 2010s?
This year, Vappu kicks off with grilling and chilling to legendary throwback tracks. Alongside the soundtrack, the food and drinks will take you right back to those golden childhood days. And if that’s not enough, our very own sauna will be heated! Boomarit also get the exclusive chance to sample Hartwall’s brand-new drinks. Come and finally kick off Vappu with us.

Like a siren, I’m calling you to spend a relaxing morning at the spa and leave all that school stress behind. You won’t want to miss this wellness day—it’s a rare chance to enjoy the spa’s jacuzzis, water massage points, and cascading waterfalls for free! There’s also sauna time and an opportunity to dip in the cold plunge pool, if you dare. Bring a friend and come pamper yourself, recharge, and get ready for an unforgettable Vappu!

Slow jams fill the club. Warm lights flicker. The wine starts to take effect. Suddenly, your classmate looks a little better in that tight shirt. Drunk kisses don’t count, right?
Feel the heat and follow the R&B hits leading you to Klubi57, which transforms into a temple of seduction and passion tonight. Let yourself be swept away by the music and the sensual vibe that will leave no Boomi member cold. Expect cheeky contests, themed prizes, punch, and snacks to get everyone in the mood for the sinful dance floor. BYOB if you’re extra thirsty! Dress to seduce and kickstart the legendary Pareto Pornobile party the right way!

The pre-party is included in Boomi’s Vappu-Pass. The Pornobile ticket is sold separately but available for Boomarit during the Vappu-Pass sale for €5.50.

Boomi and TLK are teaming up once again for the ninth edition of the classic May Day Race! Expect fun checkpoints, brain-teasing clues, and plenty of cross-disciplinary fun. Points are awarded for both performance and vibes, so bring your A-game and good energy!
This championship is a joint mission for Boomarit and Med students. Teams are formed by combining students from both organizations—no competition between the groups here! You can join solo or request up to two teammates. Each team will have 6 Boomari + 6 Med students = 12 top racers.
After the intense competition, refuel with punch and snacks at Klubi57. The club opens at 7 PM, winners announced at 9:30 PM. After that, it’s time to hit the after-party at 10 PM!

16.4.

Although Vappu is a celebration for students, it’s not worth completely forgetting about the future for three weeks. This Vappu, EY is organizing an unforgettable Vappu excursion for the boomers, which you definitely don’t want to miss amidst all the other Vappu festivities! This event is the most professional one of Vappu, offering activities under the guise of a professional event—without forgetting the professional aspects. As always, EY will provide excellent refreshments, a sauna, and relaxed conversations.

tariffi’s tequila twister

17.4.

At the heart of this spectacle is a massive Twister tournament, played in pairs – with a twist! 🤪 In this competition, pairs will have one of their legs tied together, adding an extra challenge to the game. Time to polish your balance and flexibility, because the winning duo will take home a great prize! 🏆

But don’t worry if you’re not a Twister champion – you can also join as a spectator and enjoy all the other activities the event has to offer! And when your limbs get tangled up on the Twister board, you can untangle them at the bar, where delicious themed drinks and snacks await🍹

Each participant will receive drink tickets at the entrance, but for those who need more – BYOB! The event is also fully enjoyable alcohol-free. Registration for the Twister tournament will take place via a forms link, which will be published after Boomi’s Vappu pass sales.

Hervanta day

20.4.

What’s new in Hervanta? Does the music at Teekkari sauna sound different than at Pinninkatu? What could be Indecs’ favorite song? It’s time for Boomarit to explore the wonders of Hervanta again at Hervanta Day! Who knows, maybe the song “Sinisydän” by Isorotta will win over Indecs’ hearts too. One thing’s for sure: the soundtrack of the Hervanta Game is something special. Hop on tram number 3 and head toward Hervanta campus, where you’ll hear Teekkari’s laughing and sausages sizzling.

Staabi x Boomi Vappupesis + Pesiskeitto

Monday, April 21st

The most legendary event of Vappu is back, as Staabi faces off against Boomi in a baseball game on April 21st! Come and watch the grand spectacle of Vappu as the most significant student organizations in Tampere compete for the honor of being crowned the baseball champion! In recent years, the atmosphere has never been lacking at these games, so join us to continue the tradition in full force!

The evening will be crowned with pesiskeitto (baseball stew) at Club 57, where the match results will be discussed during BoomSki’s afterparty! Come spend the evening on the dance floor, enjoy the sauna, and indulge in the shots and punch available. See you on Monday, April 21st! The event’s overalls badge will be handed out at Club 57.

Allianssisillis

Tuesday, April 22nd

Pack your banjo and cowboy hat! Take the bull by the horns and head towards the wild west. Get ready to listen to the finest country hits and form the wildest alliances. Find yourself a new amigo at the sillis and dance together to the rhythm of Old Town Road.

Expect delicious food and cowboy-worthy challenges, where the toughest in town will be crowned appropriately. There will be wild western fun as Boomi and Pörssi join forces for traditional sillis activities. So, don’t just walk – gallop to the event and let the country tunes carry you away!

Wappu Cuppi

Monday, April 23rd

Boomi and Teemunkierros??!! 🎉⚽ Are you planning to earn the Emäteemu title? This Wappu, you have a unique opportunity to get a stamp from our amazing event, as we have secured the new Wappu Cuppi as part of Finland’s Biggest Wappu.

Wappu Cuppi is a cross-disciplinary football tournament where Boomi’s team will battle for the Wappu championship against 23 other teams at the brand-new, beautiful Tammelan Stadium. Come to the stadium for the day to play, cheer, and enjoy the journey as Boomi aims for the championship! And since Wappu doesn’t end with the final whistle of the day, we’ll keep the party going with post-game celebrations that will leave no one cold!

Diskonttauksen Diskolympialaiset

Thursday, April 24th

Here comes our competitor in the blue overalls, heading into the final curve. Their step looks a bit wobbly, clearly a little pre-race fuel has been consumed. Just before the finish line, our hero trips and falls flat on their face. Lasse Virén’s feats are left in second place as our athlete doesn’t get back up but instead CRAWLS across the finish line. Quite the performance…

Dear friends! Let me introduce you to Diskonttauksen Diskolympialaiset. In these Olympics, WADA is not celebrating, as all doping is allowed. So gather a 5-6 person team, put together a team outfit, train mercilessly, and set out to take home the victory from the Diskolympics. The winning team and the best team outfit will be rewarded with unprecedentedly awesome prizes. After the tough challenges, the evening continues with Vappukolmio!

Bomorrowland Vappu sitz party

Friday, April 25th

The festival season is here! The bass is pounding as the most anticipated event of Vappu merges with Europe’s largest festivals. Instead of Belgium, you can enjoy electronic music and magical decorations at a festival that won’t be ruined by bad weather or a bouncer who found a hidden bottle in someone’s bra. So, cover yourself in glitter, climb over the fences shamelessly, and get ready to experience a spectacle that even post-festival memory loss can’t erase.

Prepare for the grandest Vappu sitsi and embark on an adventure to a fairy-tale place, as if from another dimension.

C’est la Vappubrunssi

Saturday, April 26th

Boomorrowland is over, but the party cravings are still lingering. The journey is coming to an end, but it’s not time to head home just yet. The trip continues, and at the new destination, tired partygoers will be welcomed with fresh Mimosas and a relaxing breakfast featuring classic French dishes.

A selection of French breakfast delicacies will be served, not forgetting deep-fried classics and fresh vegetables. Special dietary needs will, of course, be accommodated. The brunch is a chance to rest, reflect on the soon-to-conclude academic year, and prepare for the final Vappu push.

Särkän Märkä

Monday, April 28th

Särkän Märkä is back, this time with exciting new features to make every student’s Vappu even more thrilling! At the amusement park, you’ll get dizzy from the rides, and the party will continue into the early hours of the morning at the nightclubs, where top artists will guarantee the atmosphere! This year, Särkän Märkä celebrates its 10th anniversary!

Ikuinen Vappu – Vappusillis

Wednesday, April 30th

Is Vappu starting to feel like it’s never-ending? Are you suffering from tunnel vision? Ready for a legendary time?

Forget about those early Vappu struggles and come share your Vappu journey stories at Klubi 57, where the sauna is glowing, the hot tub is warming up, and salmiakki is served in a pint (4cl). Come enjoy the golden age of Finnish rap with delicious snacks.

JVG’s lyrics are known by everyone, no matter the mood: Get ready for fun quizzes, with awesome JVG merch as prizes! Is this the end of it?
