In Finland’s classic colors at the sillis, as freshmen at the sitz, and in the glow of colors throughout the entire Vappu! Vappu euphoria takes over Tampere more colorfully than ever before, as we proudly present Boomi’s Vappu 2024: CELEBRATION OF COLORS!!
Boomi’s Vappu weeks are back bigger than ever! Have you been frustrated while others start Vappu, and we eagerly await the opportunity to flaunt our overalls? Well, no worries because this year Boomi’s Vappu is longer than ever, offering the chance to start Vappu at the same pace as the rest of Tampere, with an even wider array of amazing events! Vappu is famously a time for lifelong memories and making friends, accumulating sleep debt, and declining academic performance. However, it’s possible to tailor Vappu to your own liking with the comprehensive Vappu pass. Boomin Vappu hike, grill delicacies, glow mini-golf, not to mention painting, offer an excellent opportunity to relax as the days grow longer and let go of the stress of the academic year! Events are available from the beginning of April to the beginning of May! In addition to Boomi’s Vappu, The Biggest Wappu in Finland offers countless opportunities to tailor Vappu to suit yourself, which you can fondly reminisce about with warmth and laughter for decades to come.
Boomi’s Vappu tickets will be sold this year on Kide.app and Bola.
- Vappu passes will be sold on Kide.app on April 1st at 10:00. The price of the Vappu pass is €12. 220 Vappu passes will be sold. Allianssisillis and Vappu sitz are not included in the Vappu pass.

- There are waiting lists for the Allianssisillis and Vappu sitz, which will open behind the ticket sales links 30 minutes after the ticket sales (at 10:30 and 14:30) if the tickets are sold out.
Let’s keep Boomi’s Vappu safe and free from harassment for everyone. Boomi’s safer space policy will be followed throughout Vappu. Boomin has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and inappropriate behavior. However, if you encounter inappropriate behavior, you can contact Boomi’s harassment support persons. Contact information for Boomi’s harassment support persons can be found here. Alternatively, you can contact Trey’s harassment contact persons at harassment@trey.fi. If necessary, the event organizer may remove a person behaving disruptively from the event.
Boomin safety personnel will be present during the Vappu weeks, and in the Telegram will always be an announcement who is acting as safety personnel for the respective event.

NESU-BOOMI’S SITZ
Thursday, April 11th
Ahoy there, sitz on the horizon! NESU-Boomi’s second sitz of the year will fill the old familiar Klubi 57 with classic sitz vibes. So, dust off your songbook and come join the festivities. The theme for the sitz will be revealed shortly, so keep your telescopes nearby!

Bosa is organizing the traditional Wappu Road Trip again this year, where students in their overalls will hop on a bus to visit mysterious destinations.

VAPPU WELLNESS DAY IN A RAINBOW OF COLORS

Even during Vappu, it’s good to take a moment to relax and let creativity flourish. Whether your favorite color is blue or orange, now is the perfect opportunity to come and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with a painting session. At the same time, you can reminisce about the Vappu events with other students while enjoying some refreshments.
50 SHADES OF BOOMI – PREPARTY
Monday, April 15th
Do you have sides you haven’t shown yet? Well, now’s the perfect opportunity because the 50 shades of boomi preparty is here! Head over to Klubi 57 to enjoy exciting activities and show your naughty side. These pre-parties will definitely not leave anyone cold, and the evening will smoothly transition into Pareto’s even hotter Porn Party!
HERVANTAPÄIVÄ: GOLDEN TREASURE AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW

Once again, the day arrives when we get to travel to Tampere’s golden destination, Hervanta. In Hervanta, we’ll find the most coveted treasure of Vappu, the Hervanta game, Teekkari sauna, and of course, the Indecs students. So, bring your spirit of adventure and set off to find the golden treasure at the end of the rainbow!
GRILL & CHILL
Wednesday, April 17th
After the lively day in Hervanta and the erotic party on Monday, we can relax and enjoy delicious grill treats in the familiar and safe surroundings of Pinninkatu. So, come and kick off the grilling season and enjoy good company with a relaxed atmosphere!
VAPPU EXCUrsion

The most formal event of Vappu gives members the opportunity to temporarily leave their overalls behind. EY has invited us to join them and has come up with some surprising activities to liven up our Vappu. What exactly it entails? Well, that will be revealed later – stay tuned!

Yes, you read that right! Tariffi, Tequila, and Twister – three things you probably didn’t expect to see in the same context. So, come and experience the spectacle being organized for the first time, and you’ll surely remember the event’s name!

Boomi’s spring hike is back! So, join us at Tampere Hall and head together with our merry band of rodents to Seitseminen National Park to witness the Finnish spring in all its colors. If you’ve heard the command “go touch grass” due to the Bola effect, this is your chance to obey and take a break from the Vappu frenzy to grill by the campfire.

NESU-BOOMi’s SLEEPOVER
Monday, April 22nd
NESU-Boomi invites all interested parties to a revived event that was last held in 2019! If you’re disappointed by Bola’s closing hours, you can make up for it by spending the whole night there! There will be video and board games, horror stories, truth or dare, and everything else needed for a fantastic sleepover.
The event is alcohol-free.
THE MAY DAY RACE 8.0
Tuesday, April 23rd
Boomi and TLK are joining forces once again to organize the Vappu’s classic event, The May Day Race, for the eighth time! The most playful competition of Vappu will feature various stations for performance and style points. In addition to interdisciplinary networking and fun stations, competitors will have to solve tricky clues during the race! The evening will, of course, culminate in an afterparty, possibly celebrating your victory!

Särkän Märkä is back in new fabulous colors to spice up every student’s Vappu! At the amusement park, you’ll get your head spinning on the rides, and the party continues into the early hours of the morning at nightclubs, where top artists guarantee the atmosphere! There’s plenty of additional programming at Särkänniemi, so an unforgettable experience is guaranteed, even if amusement park rides aren’t your top priority.
BOOMI’S VAPPU GOES GLOW MINIGOLF

Orange slices and nuggets will get the flashing yellow traffic lights working again and restore people’s positive Vappu vibes! So, come and enjoy delicious food and good company while preparing for the final challenges of Vappu, no matter what your previous night was like!
VAPPU FINNISH BASEBALL + FINNIsH BASEBALL AFTER PARTY

The traditional Vappu Finnish baseball game Boomi vs. Staabi will be played on Sunday, April 28th. After the game, Boomski will ensure proper hydration for players and spectators at Klubi57. The afterparty will feature electronic music and blue punch, the true authentic Boomski vibe!
ALLIANSSISILLIS: BLUE AND WHITE CLASSICS
Monday, April 29th
The Inner Finland Alliance between Boomi and Pörssi is alive and well! Buses from Tampere and Jyväskylä will transport students to the traditional Allianssisillis, theme this year revolves around the beloved blue and white colors of our organizations. As the end of Vappu approaches, there’s no thought of it at all in the classic blue and white atmosphere of the Allianssisillis because sillis is famously the best time for humans.

COLOR LINE DINNER
Tuesday, April 30th
The long and lively Vappu is coming to an end, but it’s not lacking in color. However, there’s still time for one last challenge, the sillis after the sillis! Come to the beloved Klubi to complete your colorful streak of Vappu events and take a moment to relax before the evening’s main event, the intense End of the World party.
COLOR RETURN MAY DAY PICNIC
Wednesday, May 1st
Phew, yet another student Vappu behind us. Put on your white cap and your overalls one more time because it’s time to come and reclaim your lost colors from the traditional May Day picnic, when the parks fill up with overalls in every color of the rainbow.
The May Day picnic will be held in Koskipuisto, where donuts and sima will be served from 1pm onwards. Students will colour the lawns with their colorful overalls and teekkari’s will be dipped in the river, so you should come and enjoy the atmosphere and the food!
