Boomi ry 58th Annual Ball

The student organization of business students in Tampere, Boomi ry, celebrates its venerable 58-year journey with traditional annual festivities in February. We warmly welcome you to join us in the most esteemed celebration of the year.

This year, Boomi’s 58th annual ball will take place on Friday, February 27th, 2026, in the splendid surroundings of Scandic Hotel Rosendahl. Doors open at 17:30, and at 18:00, we will raise a toast to begin the night. Throughout the evening, a delightful three-course dinner will be served, and together, we will enjoy impactful speeches while honoring hard-working boomari’s for their years of contribution.

Following the dinner and various speeches, we invite guests to the dance floor, where they can revel in captivating music and excellent company. The evening will conclude with unforgettable after-party festivities at Nightclub Joselin’s.

The day for invited guests begins with a cocktail party at Aleksanterinpuisto. Doors open for guests at 2:45 p.m., and the event begins at 3:00 p.m. Invitations to the cocktail party are personal, and we warmly welcome invited guests’ +1s to the evening celebration.

The following day marks the pinnacle of the annual celebration, with the traditional Sillis on Saturday! Leave behind your everyday worries as formal attire gives way to overalls, and we embark on the buses headed for the mysterious destination x. Instead of formal wear, guests can dress in overalls and board the buses towards the undisclosed location, where the fatigue of the annual celebration week gives way to a lively Sillis!
