Have you always wanted to experience the peace of a national park? How about a chance to get to know political science or administrative science students? Or perhaps you’re looking for an unforgettable hiking experience? Now you have the chance to do just that with this autumn hike!

Boomi is heading to Repovesi National Park together with Iltakoulu and Staabi on September 19–20. The trip begins with a bus departure at 7:00 AM from in front of Tampere-talo, and the hike is scheduled to start by 12:00 PM. The planned route is approximately 15–20 kilometers—a solid hike, but the pace and breaks will be kept comfortable for everyone.

After the hike, we’ll take the bus to our accommodation, which offers rooms for groups of 3–4 people, as well as sauna and washing facilities! Breakfast is included in the accommodation, and we will travel back to Tampere by the afternoon of September 20. In the evening, grilled food and other snacks will be provided at the accommodation, but you will need to cover the cost of your own snacks for the hike and the bus journey. We will make at least one stop along the way, giving you the chance to visit a shop. You can submit a roommate request when purchasing your ticket, though arrangements can also be freely swapped among participants.

The event is not wheelchair accessible. The hike requires the ability to move without significant physical limitations, and the terrain may be challenging in places.
