THE LEGENDARY SWEDEN EXCURSION IS BACK!
The legendary Sweden Excursion is back once again! This year, as usual, Boomi, Staabi and Iltakoulu will be joining the cruise.
The trip begins on Tuesday, 3 November, and we will return to Tampere on Thursday, 5 November. On the traditional Sweden Excursion, you will get to experience, among other things, company visits, Stockholm’s market squares, the Old Town, shopping opportunities, cabin parties and a dinner buffet with free-flowing wine. Everything you may have heard so much about, but can only truly understand after experiencing it yourself!
The price of this experience is €75 for Boomi members, subsidized by Boomi, and €95 for everyone else.
Please leave your student overalls at home for this trip. The dress code for the buffet is cocktail attire!

HOW TO JOIN?
Boomi members
Ticket sales for Boomi members will take place in two parts:
Kide.app: 21 September at 12:00
In-person ticket sales in Boomilaakso: 22 September from 10:00–15:00
The price of the trip for Boomi members is €75, including company visits (limited number of places), transportation, the cruise with cabin accommodation, and the buffet dinner on the first evening.
In the online ticket sale, you can purchase one (1), two (2), or four (4) tickets. Please note that the price shown in each ticket category is the price per ticket. The final price will automatically update according to the selected category when you add the product to your shopping cart.
If you are purchasing a ticket for your cabin mate, please make sure that you have all the necessary information for everyone at the time of purchase: first and last names, dates of birth, email addresses, and phone numbers.
Once you have added the ticket to your shopping cart, you have 25 minutes to enter the passengers’ information. If you exceed the time limit, the ticket will be removed from your shopping cart and returned to the sale.
At the in-person ticket sale, you can pay by card or cash. If paying in cash, please preferably bring the exact amount.
One person can purchase tickets for their entire cabin, provided that they have their own eLounge membership card as well as photos of the eLounge membership cards of all their cabin mates.
At both ticket sales, you can also register individually or with a smaller group. In that case, we will combine smaller groups into larger cabin groups, as the cabins accommodate four people.
If you purchase individual tickets through the online ticket sale, please send any requests regarding cabin mates to matkat@boomi.fi after completing your purchase.
PLEASE NOTE
If you purchase a ticket through the ticket sale intended for an organization other than your own, the ticket will be resold and the money will not be refunded. Please also make sure that your membership is valid. Memberships of the student organizations will be checked.
If you wish to form a mixed cabin with members of different student organizations, please purchase the tickets through your own organization’s ticket sale and notify us about combining the cabins by emailing matkat@boomi.fi.
After 18 October, it will no longer be possible to resell your Sweden Excursion ticket. Registration is binding and tickets are non-refundable.
COMPANY EXCURSIONS
Please note that the company excursions are only available to members of Boomi ry.
More information and the excursion destinations will be announced later. There is a limited number of places available for the company excursions, so they will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
As is traditional, both excursion packages include two different company visits.
The dress code for the company visits is smart casual.
Registration for the company visits will take place separately.
Registration for the company visits is free of charge but binding.
EVENT RULES
We want to keep the event safe and free from harassment for everyone. Boomi has a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and inappropriate behavior.
If you witness inappropriate behavior, you can contact Boomi’s harassment contact persons. If you prefer, you can also contact TREY’s harassment contact persons at hairinta@trey.fi.
By participating in the event, you also agree to follow Boomi’s safer space principles. The event organizer reserves the right to remove anyone behaving in a disruptive or harassing manner from the event.
By purchasing a ticket to the event, you confirm that you are aware of and have familiarized yourself with the Tallink Group’s rules and regulations, which apply on Tallink Silja ships. By purchasing an event ticket, you also accept personal responsibility for complying with these rules.
