Boomi ry autumn general meeting

This event updates. The general meeting will be held only in Finnish and all the materials related are also only in Finnish. Fluent Finnish is a requirement for applying to the board.

The general meeting is only available for degree programme students (not open for exhange students).

Welcome to Boomi ry’s autumn general meeting on 12.11.2024 at 16.15! The meeting will take place in the University of Tampere, Päätalo building, auditorium D10a. The doors will be open from 16.00, so please arrive early to ensure that the meeting starts as scheduled. Be prepared to show your membership at the door of the meeting room. The meeting can also be followed remotely via a link from Boomi’s Telegram members’ group, but only those present at the meeting can vote on the issues to be discussed at the meeting.

We encourage you to carefully review the attachments in advance. The association’s meeting is the most decision-making body of Boomi ry and it is the place to make a difference!

In order to attend the autumn general meeting, you must have paid your membership fee for this academic year. There will be short breaks during the meeting and it is possible to use the toilets during the meeting outside of the voting period to avoid queues. The meeting will be long, so please be prepared and eat before the meeting and possibly bring your own snacks. You can also arrive in the middle of the meeting, but you can only enter between the items on the agenda. It is also only possible to leave the meeting between items. Electronic voting will be used at the meeting and instructions will be given at the beginning.

All documents will be published in Finnish. Board applications will be translated into English.

The operational plan “toimintasuunnitelma” is available for comments. Comments on it can be left from October 28th to November 3rd via this form.

The names, applications and photos of Board applicants who have sent in a pre-application will be published on Boomi’s website on 4th November.
